The 2025 Chuncheon Marathon welcomes participants once again with its subtitle 'Legend of Autumn'. This race, held amidst beautiful autumn scenery every year, boasts a long history and tradition and is loved by many runners.

The event will start at 9 AM on Sunday, October 26th, from Chuncheon Gongjicheon Bridge. The Chuncheon Marathon features an internationally certified course and will take runners along the scenic Uiamho Lake loop course. The course will offer participants refreshing autumn breezes along with the expansive lake views.

Specifically, this year's marathon will be operated in two divisions: the Full Course (42.195km) and the 10km Course. Applications for the Full Course will open on Tuesday, June 24th, at 2 PM on a first-come, first-served basis, and payment will be accepted from 10 AM on Tuesday, July 1st, to 6 PM on Wednesday, July 2nd. The 10km Course application will be available from 2 PM on Thursday, June 26th, with payment accepted from 10 AM on Tuesday, July 8th, to 6 PM on Wednesday, July 9th. All divisions are subject to early closure, so prompt registration is crucial.

The marathon is co-hosted by The Chosun Ilbo, Chuncheon City, Sports Chosun, and the Korea Association of Athletics Federations, and organized by the Gangwon Athletics Federation. It is also supported by the Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province and recognized for its value as a course listed in the AIMS Hall of Fame.
