Race Information
The National New Year Shirtless Marathon takes place in Daegu on the first Sunday of the new year. The 19th edition is held on January 3, 2027 in front of the Daegu Athletics Promotion Center, with 5K and 10K races.
- Assembly: 7:30–9:20 a.m.
- 10K: 10:00 a.m. start, KRW 50,000, 1,200 runners
- Student 5K: 10:05 a.m. start, KRW 20,000, 100 runners
- General 5K: 10:10 a.m. start, KRW 40,000, 700 runners
- Registration: October 28–December 10, 2026, limited to 2,000 entrants on a first-come, first-served basis
An event T-shirt, timing chip and mobile race certificate are provided. In keeping with the event format, men run shirtless, women wear sports tops, and shorts are required for all runners.
