Terms of Service

Article 1 (Purpose)

These Terms of Service (the "Terms") govern the use of the marathon event information platform (the "Service") operated by KorMarathon (the "Operator") and establish the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between the Operator and users, as well as other necessary matters.

Article 2 (Definitions)

① "Service" means the search, inquiry, registration, and related additional services for Korean marathon event information provided by the Operator. ② "User" means any individual or legal entity that receives the Service provided by the Operator in accordance with these Terms. ③ "Organizer" means any individual or legal entity that organizes a marathon event. ④ "Content" means all information, data, text, images, etc. provided through the Service.

Article 3 (Posting and Amendment of Terms)

① The Operator posts the contents of these Terms on the initial screen of the Service so that users can easily understand them. ② The Operator may amend these Terms to the extent that they do not violate relevant laws and regulations. ③ When the Terms are amended, the Operator will notify users of the amendments through the Service and obtain user consent.

Article 4 (Provision of Service)

① The Operator provides the following services: - Search and inquiry of marathon event information - Registration and management of marathon events - Provision and sharing of event-related information - All other services that the Operator may develop or provide through partnership agreements ② The Service is provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year in principle. However, the Operator may conduct regular or emergency maintenance for service stability.

Article 5 (Modification and Suspension of Service)

① The Operator may modify all or part of the Service provided for operational or technical reasons. ② The Operator may suspend the provision of the Service in the following cases: - In case of natural disasters or equivalent force majeure - In case of service instability due to excessive use - In other cases where the Operator cannot maintain the Service due to its circumstances

Article 6 (User Obligations)

① Users shall not engage in the following acts: - Registering false information on the Service - Infringing on others' intellectual property rights - Interfering with the stable operation of the Service - Acts that violate laws or these Terms - Other acts contrary to public order and morals ② Users shall not use information obtained through the Service for commercial purposes or allow third parties to use it by reproducing, transmitting, publishing, distributing, broadcasting, or other methods without the prior consent of the Operator.

Article 7 (Accuracy of Event Information)

① The Operator provides the Service based on information submitted by organizers and publicly available information. ② Details such as event schedule, venue, participation fees, and benefits are subject to change, and users must verify all final details directly with the event organizer. ③ The Operator does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information provided and is not responsible for any damages incurred by users relying on the Service's information.

Article 8 (Disclaimer)

① The Operator is a simple information platform and does not participate in the actual operation, payment, refund, etc. of each event, and does not assume any legal responsibility. ② The Operator shall be exempt from liability for the provision of the Service in cases where the Service cannot be provided due to natural disasters or equivalent force majeure. ③ The Operator is not responsible for service disruptions caused by user negligence. ④ The Operator is not responsible for lost profits expected by users from using the Service, nor is it responsible for damages caused by materials obtained through the Service.

Article 9 (Dispute Resolution)

① Any lawsuit concerning disputes arising between the Operator and users regarding e-commerce shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the local court having jurisdiction over the user's address at the time of filing, or if there is no address, the local court having jurisdiction over the user's place of residence. ② Any lawsuit concerning disputes arising between the Operator and users shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.

Article 10 (Miscellaneous)

Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by relevant laws and regulations and commercial practices.
