The Race Daegu 10K is Daegu's representative running content, establishing the standard for running in Korea and fostering a healthy running culture with runners. This event, scheduled for Sunday, May 3, 2026, at Daegu Stadium Plaza, aims to recruit 5,000 participants and grow alongside the local community through running.

Registration opens on Monday, February 9, 2026, at 10:00 AM and closes on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM. The race has a capacity of 5,000 participants and will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis based on payment completion, so prompt application and payment are encouraged. The 10km course fee is 50,000 KRW. Eligibility is open to all healthy individuals, male and female, in accordance with the rules of the Korea Association of Athletics Federations. However, registered athletes with the Korea Association of Athletics Federations or those whose registration has been cancelled within the past two years are prohibited from participating. Team registration is not possible; only individual registration is accepted.

On the day of the event, the venue opens for participant arrival at 7:00 AM. The opening ceremony and stretching will take place at 7:30 AM, followed by the main race start at 8:00 AM after participants move to the starting point. The awards ceremony is scheduled to be held on the main stage at 10:00 AM. A baggage storage service and changing rooms will be available from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and a photo zone will also be in operation during the same hours for participants to capture memorable moments.

Important participant guidelines include that the timing chip is attached to the back of the bib number and should not be bent or detached. The bib with the chip must be worn on the outside of the front of the body and protected from water. Race results can be checked on the Smart Chip website, accessible without membership by entering your name or bib number. Commemorative gifts and event merchandise will be delivered to the address provided during registration before the race.

To prevent fraudulent resale of race entries, The Race Daegu 10K prohibits transfer. Entry transfer is illegal and any resulting damages are not the responsibility of the organizing office. If entry transfer is discovered, the entry will be forfeited, and both the transferor and transferee may face legal consequences. Personal information can be directly modified before payment. After payment completion, only minor typos (name, date of birth, contact number) can be corrected via consultation. Please note that no information modifications are possible after the refund period deadline. For card payments, refunds will be processed after identity verification, with the credit card company's policy determining the 3-7 day refund period. The refund application period ends on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at 5:00 PM; no refunds, cancellations, or participant information modifications are possible thereafter.
