Race Information
The Busan International Marathon is a large city marathon held in Busan, with a total of 12,000 participants accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. It offers a full marathon and a 10K race, and the start date is Sunday, December 6, 2026.
The assembly area is BEXCO Exhibition Center 1 in Busan. On race day, baggage storage and separate men’s and women’s changing rooms are available, making it easier to prepare and move around.
The full marathon covers 42.195 km and is open only to healthy men and women aged 18 or older. Runners must also have a certified finishing record within 4 hours and 30 minutes from another race. The 10K is a 10 km road race for healthy men and women aged 18 or older.
Participants receive an official commemorative T-shirt, bib number, timing chip, finisher’s medal, and race certificate.
