Race Information
Daejeon Ilbo will host the 22nd Daejeon 3 Great Rivers Marathon on May 10, 2026, at the Daejeon Expo Citizens' Square. This event will be a festival where marathon enthusiasts and citizens can participate together, sharing health and joy while running along Daejeon's three major rivers.
The race offers various categories including Half Marathon, 10km, 5km, and a Family Course, allowing participants to choose according to their skill level and preference. The Half Marathon course starts and ends at Expo Citizens' Square, passing through Wonchon Samgeori, Yongsin Bridge, and Shingu Bridge, designed to let runners enjoy the beautiful riverside scenery of Daejeon.
The 10km course begins at Expo Citizens' Square, goes through Wonchon Samgeori and Expo @ 3rd Complex, and returns to the starting point. The 5km course starts at Expo Citizens' Square, passes through Dunsan Bridge and the Nakdong River Flood Control Office, and returns. The Family Course starts at Expo Citizens' Square, goes through the waterside cultural center basketball court and KAIST Bridge, and returns, making it an ideal option for families to create joyful memories together.
The participation fee for the Half Marathon and 10km is 35,000 won, while the 5km and Family Course fees are 15,000 won. Group participants of 20 or more will receive a 100,000 won support benefit, and booth applications are available for groups of 30 or more. Participants with disabilities and national merit recipients are eligible for a 50% discount on the participation fee.
Registration can be done through the website, and refunds are possible between 15 to 20 days after the registration deadline. Under the slogan 'Faster, Further, in Daejeon.', this event aims to encourage participants to go faster and further, while also promoting the charm of Daejeon.
