The 2026 Daecheongho Obaengni-gil Walking Festival is a walking event that highlights health, healing, and relaxation along the Daecheongho Obaengni-gil trail. It is hosted by Daejeon Metropolitan City and organized by the Daejeon Tourism Organization and the Korea Walking Movement Headquarters, with sponsorship from K-water Korea Water Resources Corporation.
The event will take place on Saturday, October 31, 2026, from 09:00 to 15:00 at the East Plaza of Geumgang Lohas Daecheong Park. The main courses are a 10 km walk, a 4 km family walk for three generations, and a 1.5 km walk for seniors and families with infants, with participation limited to the first 1,500 entrants. The entry fee is KRW 2,000 per person, and all participants will receive a souvenir and a completion certificate. Participant registration and course briefing run from 07:30 to 09:30, and the walk starts in sequence by course from 10:30.
