Race Information
The Daejeon Shin Chaeho Marathon is held in Jung-gu, Daejeon, and is scheduled for Sunday, November 1, 2026 at the lawn plaza of Daejeon Ppuri Park. The event carries the name of Shin Chaeho, giving it both local significance and historical meaning. It is hosted by Daejeon Metropolitan City Jung-gu and the Jung-gu Sports Association, and organized by the Jung-gu Athletics Federation.
The race offers a Half Shin Chaeho Challenge Course, a 10 km Mini Course, a 5 km Health Course, and a 5 km Family Run, allowing runners of different levels to participate together. The Half and 10 km events include a timing chip and an online finisher certificate, while the 5 km events and the Family Run do not use chips. Each race starts at a different time, and the course time limits are 3 hours for the Half, 2 hours for the 10 km, and 1 hour for the 5 km and Family Run.
Registration is scheduled to begin in July 2026.
