Race Information
This event is a large-scale cultural festival where you can enjoy both the waterside scenery around Andong Dam and K-pop content in one place. It is being prepared to mark the 50th anniversary of the completion of Andong Dam, and its main appeal is that you can experience running, performances, and a local market all at once.
During the day, the event features the “Star Run · Andong Lake Walking Race,” where participants run and walk along the Andong Dam waterside. Because it is designed as a program with top artists, it offers a more festive atmosphere than a typical running event.
In the evening, a “K-pop Concert” takes place at Andong Civic Stadium. Since the running and walking programs lead into the concert, it is a great way to enjoy both exercise and live entertainment in a single day.
A “Local Market” with participating local small businesses will also be held at the venue. You can discover Andong’s food and local specialties, which adds more fun for visitors who want a longer, more immersive trip.
The organizers expect around 20,000 domestic and international participants and visitors. It is a good fit if you want to enjoy Andong’s scenery while combining running, performances, and local culture in one festival experience.
