Race Information
The 2026 Incheon Marathon will be held on November 22nd. This year's event aims to attract 20,000 participants and plans to expand the full course category. To enhance safety management and operational efficiency, the assembly point has been changed to the Incheon Asiad Main Stadium.
This year's Incheon Marathon will feature three events: Full Course (42.195km), 10km, and 5km. Notably, a one-way course passing through the Cheongna Sky Bridge, an Incheon landmark, is being considered for the full course. If confirmed, participants will experience a unique race that combines the dynamism of the city with the picturesque coastal scenery of the West Sea. This will further solidify its status as the only full-course marathon in Incheon.
The scale of the event is also being enhanced with substance. The number of participants for the full course is planned to increase from 6,000 last year to 8,000, catering to the growing demand from masters runners. Furthermore, to improve the quality and competitive level of the event, the total prize money for domestic runners will be raised from 67 million KRW to 86 million KRW, and the first-place prize money will be increased from 12 million KRW to 15 million KRW. Detailed information regarding the course and other specifics will be gradually disclosed as they are finalized.
