Race Information
Daejeon Bbangbbang Run 2026 is a marathon event that continues the spirit of the original “Bbangbbang Run,” a race deeply devoted to bread. It also functions as a campaign event that donates some bread and bakery items to underprivileged children in the Daejeon area. The page clearly states the event name as “Daejeon Bbangbbang Run 2026,” and the schedule runs from Friday, October 9, 2026 to Sunday, October 10, 2026, with participants choosing one of the two days. The event is presented with keywords such as bread, bakery, running, untact run, and non-face-to-face marathon, showing that it is a themed running event combining running culture and bread culture.
The race offers three categories: HALF, 10K, and 5K, each with different start times by group. HALF starts at 07:30. The 10K race starts at 07:40 for Group A, 07:45 for Group B, 07:50 for Group C, and 07:55 for Group D. The 5K race starts at 08:40 for Group A, 08:45 for Group B, 08:50 for Group C, and 08:55 for Group D, and no starts are allowed after that. The timetable also shows that the reception and baggage storage open at 7:00 AM, event booths operate from 7:00 AM to 12:00 PM, the prize pickup area operates from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM, and the event ends at 12:00 PM.
A variety of side programs are prepared for participants. The “Bbangbbang Look Awards” recognize runners who show off their style and personality, with trophies and prizes awarded to selected participants. The grand prize winner receives two entry tickets to Bbangbbang Run 2027 in Daejeon, a Seongsimdang Hyeongje Set, and a 100,000 KRW Seongsimdang gift certificate. The gold and silver prizes also include two entry tickets to Bbangbbang Run 2027 in Daejeon along with Seongsimdang-related prizes. In addition, there is a ranking ceremony for HALF and 10K participants, as well as pre-race stretching, pacers, an event zone, and a photo zone to make the on-site experience more enjoyable.
According to the organizer introduction, 1986 Production is a cultural planning company that curates life in a fun way. Through this campaign, the event donates bread to children from underprivileged families in Daejeon. The page also introduces cumulative donation records from previous campaigns, highlighting the event’s charitable purpose beyond running itself. Participants can enjoy a race experience that combines running with bread-themed events, awards, photo opportunities, and prize pickup activities.
