The 4th Bamseom Marathon is a special event awaiting participants at Bamseom, where nature and the city harmoniously converge. This race goes beyond mere running, embodying the spirit of the 'Bamseom Environmental Marathon' which aims to change the world and make participants' lives healthier. It is organized with the purpose of promoting healthy physical activity while reflecting on the importance of environmental protection. As described in the OG tag, it is an event that "changes the world and makes my life healthier."
This event will commence with a powerful start at 8:00 AM on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at Yeouido Park's Culture Square. It is hosted by the Korea Federation for Sports for All, and is made even richer with sponsorship from Jungsaemmool, Greenvia, and Hebs. Registration is open until May 20, and anyone, regardless of age or gender, who is physically healthy is welcome to participate.
The event categories include Half Marathon, 10km, and 5km, allowing participants to choose according to their fitness level. All participants pay a uniform entry fee of 50,000 won, and accurate timekeeping is ensured for all categories using timing chips. Participants will receive a commemorative T-shirt, a finisher's medal, a record certificate, and refreshments including bread and drinks, adding to the joy of completion.
