Race Information
The 2026 Incheon Athletics Federation President's Cup Marathon will be held on May 17, 2026, around the Ara Tower in Jeongseojin. This event will accommodate up to 5,000 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, with the race commencing at 8:30 AM. Participants are required to gather at the event venue by 7:00 AM to complete their pre-race preparations.
The marathon course offers three distinct categories for participants to choose from: 'Half Marathon (21.0975km)', '10km', and '5km', designed to allow runners to experience the essence of marathon running. The participation fee for the Half Marathon and 10km races is 50,000 won, while the 5km race has a fee of 40,000 won. All participants will receive a commemorative gift, a race bib, and a finisher's medal. Additionally, participants in the Half Marathon and 10km categories will be provided with an online record certificate and a timing chip, excluding the 5km participants.
The competition is divided into Elite and Masters divisions. The Elite division is exclusively for athletes registered with the World Athletics (Wa) and Korea Association of Athletics Federations (KAAF). The Masters division is open to general participants who are not registered athletes. However, athletes who have retired for more than three years are eligible to participate in the Masters division. The Half Marathon is open to all healthy male and female participants aged 18 and above, who can complete the course within 5 hours. There are no age restrictions for the 10km and 5km races.
Awards will be presented to the top 5 male and female finishers in both the Half Marathon and 10km categories. Participants must select a starting group that corresponds to their personal best (PB) time; starting in a group ahead of their designated one will result in disqualification. The Half Marathon is divided into Group A (under 1 hour 30 minutes) and Group B (under 2 hours), and the 10km race is divided into Group A (under 1 hour) and Group B (after 1 hour).
