Race Information
The 2026 Goheung Space Aviation Marathon is a marathon festival held in Goheung, inviting participants to run under the theme of racing toward space from Earth. It takes place in Goheung, a region known for its scenic Dadohae seascape, and is jointly organized by the Goheung County Sports Council, the Goheung County Athletics Federation, and the Korea Marathon Association (Jeonmahyup).
The race starts at 9:00 a.m. on 2026-10-09 at Park Ji-sung Public Stadium, with assembly at 8:00 a.m. The event offers 5 km, 10 km, and Half courses, with time limits of 1 hour, 2 hours, and 3 hours respectively. Participants from toddlers who can walk are eligible, while the 10 km and longer events are open only to middle school students and older. Chip timing is used for the 10 km and Half races, and runners who do not meet the designated start time will be excluded from awards.
