WAGURUN 2026

About the Event

WAGURUN is an approximately 5 km food running festival combining running, eating and fun. Rather than focusing on race times, participants can enjoy food missions and activities along the route. Run slowly or walk at your own pace.

Event Details

• Date and time: Saturday, November 21, 2026, starting at 12:00 noon
• Venue: 824-5 Sanwol-dong, Gwangsan-gu, Gwangju, South Korea
• Organizer: Running Pop
• Distance: Approximately 5 km, running or walking
• Entry fee: KRW 30,000 per person
• Eligibility: All ages welcome. Preschool children must participate with a guardian.
• Complete on-site check-in before the event starts.

Registration

• Deadline: Midnight at the end of Sunday, October 25, 2026
• Both the application form and entry fee payment must be completed before the deadline.
• Registration is confirmed after payment verification. Confirmation text messages are sent in batches on the day payment is received.
• The payer's name must match the applicant's name.

Participant Benefits

• Food and drinks along the route, including four food courses
• Participant kit: race bib, candy, bandana, gym sack, Kkas Hwal Myung Su digestive drink and sports socks
• Finisher medal and on-site activities
• Three participants will receive medal display cases in a prize draw.

Safety Information

Participate according to your health and fitness, and follow instructions from event staff and safety personnel. Food and drinks may contain allergens, and cross-contact is possible. Allergy-friendly substitutes and individual dietary management are not available, so check the information provided on site before consuming any items.

Pets may join when accompanied by their guardians. Keep them safely supervised and under control throughout the event.
