Race Information
The 2026 Gangneung Okgye-heonhwaro 11k RUN is a running event set against the backdrop of the beautiful Okgye Beach in Gangneung. It will offer participants a special experience to gain both health and enjoyment while running amidst the scenic natural landscapes of Okgye.
The event is scheduled to gather participants on Saturday, June 13th, at 8:00 AM, with the opening ceremony starting at 8:30 AM and the race commencing precisely at 9:00 AM. While awards will be based on gun time (order of finish), individual timing will be measured using the net time system, which starts from the moment participants cross the starting line mat. Participants are encouraged to start with ample room for their safety.
The race course will feature two categories: 11km and 5km. Specific course details are expected to be announced later.
