The 2026 Egg Marathon is a race that promotes the nutritional value of eggs and a low-carbon diet while encouraging health and sharing. It is designed as a family-friendly event, so you can enjoy running while taking part in a meaningful cause.
The race starts at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday, September 12, 2026, with check-in at 7:00 a.m. The venue is the plaza at the Passenger Terminal of Jeongseojin, along the Gyeongin Ara Waterway. Registration opens at 10:00 a.m. on August 6, 2026, and entries are limited to the first 5,000 participants.
The event offers a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, 5 km couple run, and 5 km family run. The half marathon and 10 km courses are recommended for runners with experience, and you can enjoy the atmosphere of the Gyeongin Ara Waterway as you run toward the finish. The 5 km course is a comfortable option for families, friends, and beginner runners, and it is suitable for both walking and running.
Depending on the category, participants receive either a top-and-bottom set or a functional T-shirt, a finisher medal, a bib number, and finish-line snacks. Participants in the half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and 5 km couple run also receive an online finisher certificate, while the 5 km family run has a separate gift package. Participants under 14 must register as part of a group application with a guardian.
