Race Information
The 2026 Baekyangsan Forest Trail Health Running Festival will be grandly held on Sunday, May 31, 2026, at the Busan Students' Culture & Education Center Plaza. This event is hosted and organized by the Busan Amateur Marathon Club Federation, offering a special health running experience along the beautiful forest trails of Baekyangsan. The total number of participants is limited to 900. If certain categories are undersubscribed, additional recruitment may occur for other categories. The event may close early if the total capacity of 900 participants is reached, so those wishing to participate are encouraged to register promptly. Participants must thoroughly read the event guidelines and refund policy before applying.
The event features diverse categories: 6km (walking), 10km, and a 21km Baekyangsan Forest Road Race. Participant limits for each category are 350 for 21km, 350 for 10km, and 200 for 6km. The 6km category is a non-competitive section. Minors (born after May 31, 2007) are allowed to participate in the 6km category only if accompanied by a parent or family member and as part of a group registration. Minors are not permitted to participate in the 10km and 21km categories.
The participation fee is 40,000 won for the 6km (walking) category and 50,000 won for the 10km and 21km Forest Road Race categories. Fees can be deposited into the Busan Bank account 113-2013-0630-01 (Account Holder: Busan Amateur Federation). When making a deposit, please include your name and date of birth (e.g., Hong Gildong000000) to distinguish between individuals with the same name.
The registration period is from January 19, 2026, to April 30, 2026. However, registration may close early if the total participant capacity of 900 is reached. On-site registration is available on the event day until 7:00 AM for a limited number of 50 participants. Online registration via the internet is the primary method, accessible through the Baekyangsan Health Run section of the official website. If a refund is requested within the registration period (before early closure), the amount will be refunded after deducting 10,000 won and a 1,000 won bank transfer fee. No refunds will be issued after early closure, so careful consideration is advised when applying and making payments.
