Event Overview
- Date and start: Sunday, November 8, 2026, starting at 9:00 a.m.
- Venue: Ginkgo Tree Road Plaza in front of Hyeonchungsa Shrine, Asan, Chungcheongnam-do
- Distances: Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K
- Host: Asan City Sports Council
- Organized and operated by: Asan City Marathon Association
Registration and Fees
- Registration opens: August 20, 2026
- Entries are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis and may close early when each distance reaches capacity.
- The entry fee is KRW 40,000 for every distance.
- Capacity: Half Marathon 700 runners, 10K 1,300 runners, and 5K 500 runners.
Race-Day Information
- Starting at 9:00 a.m., the Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K will begin at 10-minute intervals in that order.
- Times are recorded with disposable timing chips, and certificates are sent by mobile. Awards are determined by gun time.
- Race bibs are mailed about one week before the event. The event gift (Onyang Green Hat rice) and commemorative medal are distributed on race day.
- Changing rooms and baggage storage are available. Participants should keep valuables with them.
- The course follows roads along the Gokgyocheon waterfront. The Half Marathon and 10K include an approximately 520 m unpaved section about 2 km before the finish, as well as an area affected by construction at Chungmu Bridge. Please run with care.
- Courses are subject to change depending on event operations.
