Race Information
This marathon is designed to boost the spirit of small and medium-sized business people and let everyone feel a sense of unity by running together. Held along Anyangcheon in Guro-gu, it carries a message of support for families in the SME community.
The event offers three distances: 5 km, 10 km (the 9988 course), and the Half 21 km. The 9988 course is a symbolic route inspired by the idea that 99% of Korean companies are SMEs and 88% of the nation’s workers are employed in SMEs.
All participants receive a commemorative T-shirt, bib number, timing chip for the 10 km and Half, running knee support, an energy bar, electrolyte candy, and a “support SMEs” coupon. Finishers also receive a medal, carbonated drink, and recovery snacks.
On race day, you can also enjoy side programs such as a stretching class, Record Station, flea market, sponsor and local market booths, and a relaxation zone. Timing is provided for the 10 km and Half, while the 5 km does not include a timing chip.
The race starts at 8:30 a.m. on October 31, 2026, with check-in beginning at 7:00 a.m. You’ll run along Anyangcheon, with course options suitable for family runners as well as half-marathon challengers.
