Race Information
The 2nd Hope Seoul Marathon is a special running festival held at Yeouido Park, the heart of Seoul. Hosted and organized by the Republic of Korea Army OCS Officers Gangnam Branch, this event carries significant meaning and takes place against the backdrop of the Culture Square in Yeouido Park, a green oasis in the city. Participants will run along an optimal course where they can enjoy the beautiful scenery of Seoul while feeling the cool river breeze.
The race consists of three categories: Half, 10km, and 5km, allowing everyone from beginners to experienced runners to choose a course that fits their fitness level. All participants will be provided with timing chips for accurate record measurement, and upon completion, a finisher's medal and a record certificate will be issued on-site to commemorate their achievement. In addition, high-quality functional commemorative T-shirts will be provided to all participants to keep precious memories of the race.
As for benefits, snacks such as bread and drinks will be provided for post-race nutrition, and the event is further enriched by the sponsorship of reliable companies like Greenbia, Vegemil (Jung Sik Food), and Haps. This competition, open to anyone of all ages who is physically healthy, will be the best opportunity to share healthy energy and harmony with family, friends, and colleagues. Registration is available through the official website until June 11, 2026, so we look forward to the participation of many runners who wish to run together through the heart of Seoul.
