On Sunday, June 14, 2026, the 21st Gwangjin-gu Federation President's Cup Athletics Competition will be held at the Jungnangcheon Sports Park. This event, with a start time of 8:30 AM, will be a festival for athletics enthusiasts and local residents to come together to foster health and camaraderie.
The competition is divided into 5km and 10km categories, with timing chips provided for all events to ensure accurate record-keeping. The 10km category is open to anyone who can complete the course within 1 hour and 20 minutes, while the 5km category is open to all healthy individuals, regardless of age or gender. This competition is hosted by the Gwangjin-gu Sports Council and organized by the Gwangjin-gu Athletics Federation, with support from Gwangjin-gu, Seoul Metropolitan Government, and Wow Running Association.
