Race Information
The 16th National Happiness Marathon will take place on Saturday, June 20, 2026, starting at 9:00 AM. Hosted and organized by the Korea Sports Promotion Association, this event was designed with the heart of supporting every runner's completion. Participants can relieve daily stress and recharge with healthy energy while running against the cool scenery of the Han River. The gathering time on the day of the event is 8:00 AM, and the main race will begin at 9:00 AM.
The event location is the Riverside Square of Ttukseom Hangang Park, located in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. It is directly connected to Exit 2 of Jayang Station (formerly Ttukseom Resort Station) on Subway Line 7, providing excellent accessibility via public transportation. The marathon course starts from Ttukseom Riverside Square and follows the Han River walking path towards Gangdong Bridge, offering an optimal environment for a pleasant run with the wide-open river breeze.
Race categories are divided into three sections: Half (21.0975km), 10km, and 5km, allowing everyone from beginners to experienced runners to choose according to their fitness level. All participants will receive a bib number, completion medal, record certificate, snacks, drinks, and a timing chip for accurate measurement. In addition, there is a reasonable structure where you can choose between regular participation including official souvenirs and 'Mania' participation, which excludes souvenirs and lowers the entry fee.
In particular, there are abundant benefits for group participants. Group applications are available for two or more people, and for groups of 20 or more, one dedicated booth and a banner with the group's name will be provided free of charge. Registration begins in February 2026 and will close on a first-come, first-served basis, so those who wish to participate are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.
