Race Information
S-OIL with Inspiring Marathon is a warm running event where people with and without disabilities run together, sharing challenge, support, and giving. It also carries special meaning as part of S-OIL’s 50th anniversary, making the experience of running together even more memorable.
The race starts at Peace Plaza in World Cup Park, Seoul, and offers 5km, 10km, and Half courses. The 5km course runs through Peace Plaza, Peace Park, and the Nanji Hangang Park area before returning, while the 10km and Half courses take runners farther around the World Cup Park area, including Energy Dream Center, Haneul Park, Noeul Park, Nanji Camping Site, the Ecological Park, and the Magok Bridge area. Timing is provided for the 10km and Half courses, but the 5km course is not timed.
Wheelchair and stroller participants may join only the 5km course, and one accompanying runner for a participant with a disability, or for a participant with developmental or visual disabilities, can join for free. The venue provides men’s and women’s changing rooms and baggage storage, and all finishers receive a course-specific finisher medal and snacks. Participant gifts include a short-sleeve top, bib number, finisher medal, bottled water, finisher snacks, and a random Gudoil keyring.
The entry fee is eligible for a donation receipt, and group registration is available for teams of 20 or more. Start times are 07:30 for the Half, 07:45 for the 10km, and 08:00 for the 5km, and runners should gather 30 minutes before their start time. Water is placed every 2.5km on the course, and ambulances and medical staff are on standby to help runners stay safe.
