Race Information
This event is a public-interest running project where you can run while taking part in a donation effort for descendants of independence activists. It carries a message of remembering history and carrying that spirit forward, so it is a good fit if you are looking for a run with meaning beyond the race itself.
The event offers two distances: 5 km and 10 km. The 5 km course is a round-trip short course, and the 10 km course is a round-trip middle-distance course.
The race starts at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday, October 11, 2026, and participants gather at 7:00 a.m. The venue is the Anyangcheon Soccer Field near Guil Station on Line 1.
The entry fee is KRW 50,000 for all categories, and members of partner organizations receive a 10% discount. Race items include a functional short-sleeve T-shirt, bib number, timing chip, finisher medal, finisher snack, and an online certificate, all distributed on site.
The event also emphasizes eco-friendly operation and efforts to minimize waste. There is no dedicated parking area in the Anyangcheon riverside area, so using public transportation is recommended.
