Experience IKEA in a new way with the 'Hej Run' participant recruitment!
Under the slogan 'Hej Run for those who know home', this event will offer a unique experience by running inside and outside IKEA stores. The Hej Run will be held simultaneously at IKEA Gwangmyeong and IKEA Dongbusan. Participants will have the opportunity to discover new charms of the store while running a 5km course.
Registration is open from Wednesday, April 8, 2026, to Tuesday, April 14, 2026, until 5:59 PM, via this Google Form. The participation fee is 20,000 KRW per person. A total of 350 participants will be selected for the Gwangmyeong store and 400 for the Dongbusan store through a random draw among applicants. Winners will be notified individually via text message on Thursday, April 16, 2026.
Participants will receive a limited-edition T-shirt, and upon completion, will be awarded a finisher's medal, food coupons, limited-edition merchandise, and a 5,000 KRW gift card. Participation is open to individuals aged 10 and above (born in 2016), and only IKEA Family members are eligible to participate.
This event is a participatory running event without timing. It is important to check your personal condition for a safe run. Please note that the schedule, course, and operational methods may be subject to change depending on weather or store operating conditions. Captured videos and photos may be used for IKEA's marketing purposes. Stair sections are included in the course, so please consider this when applying.
