2026 Seocheon Hansan Mosimaramarathon

The 2026 Seocheon Hansan Mosimaramarathon is a meaningful marathon event held in Hansan, the home of Mosi (hemp fabric), amidst the beautiful nature of Seocheon. It offers participants a special opportunity to improve their health while experiencing the region's culture and history. The race will recruit 2,000 participants on a first-come, first-served basis, with participation eligibility granted upon completion of payment. People of all ages can join to create enjoyable memories together.

This event features three categories: a 10km race, a 5km race, and a 5km family run for families to participate together. Participants can choose the event that best suits their fitness level and goals. The 10km and 5km courses offer individual awards to foster a sense of accomplishment through competition, while the 5km family run focuses on the entire family completing the course together. Additionally, the team with the most participants will receive a separate award, encouraging participation from clubs and workplaces.

Participants will receive a commemorative gift, bib number, finisher's medal, online certificate, and timing chip. Finisher's medals will be awarded to all who complete the race, commemorating their achievement. The participation fee for all events (10km, 5km, and 5km family run) is 30,000 KRW. Please note that as Seocheon County Athletics Federation is a non-profit organization, cash receipts or card payments are not available. However, a payment confirmation for proof of expenditure can be provided.

Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis for 2,000 participants. Individual participants can register online. Group participants are required to fill out a separate form and submit it via email. Refunds are possible only for those who apply by April 24, 2026 (Friday) 5:00 PM. Cancellations and refunds are not possible after the refund application period. For the smooth and safe execution of the event, a time limit (10km: 1 hour 30 minutes, 5km: 1 hour) will be enforced, and participants exceeding the time limit must follow the instructions of the race officials.

For a safe and enjoyable event, participants must gather one hour before the start and be at the starting line 30 minutes prior to the start. Bib numbers and timing chips must be worn in the designated positions and will not be reissued if lost or damaged. Hydration stations will be provided every 5km with water and sports drinks. In case of injury or accident during the race, assistance will be provided up to the point of on-site first aid and hospital transport. The organizers are not responsible for accidents caused by the participant's own negligence, as opposed to the organizers' intentional misconduct or gross negligence. Please ensure you are in good health before participating.
