Race Information
The '2026 Ramsar Wetland Bamseom Run' is a special public interest marathon designed to promote and preserve the value of 'Ramsar Wetland Bamseom,' a precious ecological asset in the heart of Seoul. This event also aims to raise operational funds for Mapo FM, a non-profit community radio station, offering participants a sense of social contribution beyond the joy of running.
The race will take place on Sunday, June 21, 2026, starting at 8:00 AM at the Multi-Plaza in front of the Mulbit Stage in Yeouido Hangang Park. The venue is easily accessible via Exit 2 of Yeouinaru Station, providing an optimal running environment where participants can enjoy the refreshing breeze of the Han River. Runners will have the opportunity to share healthy energy while taking in the beauty of nature within the city.
The competition offers 10km and 5km running courses, along with a 3km walking course that anyone can comfortably join. Notably, the 3km course includes a 'Bamseom History and Culture Commentary Program,' providing an educational experience where participants can learn about the ecological value and history of Bamseom from professional guides while walking.
All participants will receive a souvenir T-shirt and a hat, and those in the 10km and 5km categories will be provided with timing chips for accurate record measurement. Registration is available at a discounted price during the early bird period from March 13 to March 26. We encourage you to participate in this meaningful event to improve your health and contribute to the ecological protection of Bamseom.
