Race Information
The 2026 Mind Marathon is a large-scale charity marathon themed around 'Future Generation's Mental Health,' dedicated to supporting the mental well-being of children and adolescents. Approximately 10,000 runners are expected to participate, with the entire registration fee donated to NGOs working to promote the mental health of children and adolescents.
This event is designed as a citizen participation campaign to highlight and foster understanding of the various mental health issues faced by future generations. By simply running together, participants naturally contribute to supporting the mental health of children.
Prominent figures will join as campaigners for the event. Singer Sean, actor couple Jin Tae-hyun and Park Si-eun, neuroscientist Dr. Jang Dong-sun, comedian Kim GIRI and actor Moon Ji-in couple, and running YouTuber Yoo Moon-jin will participate to spread awareness about the importance of mental health for children and adolescents.
The marathon will feature three courses: Half Marathon (21.097km), 10km, and 5km. Notably, the 5km course is designated as a 'Family Run,' allowing families to participate together. The number of participants for each course is planned for 3,000 for the Half Marathon, 6,000 for the 10km, and 1,000 for the 5km.
The event is organized by Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and The Butter, with support from the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Seoul Metropolitan Government, and the Social Innovation Research Institute. Registration will open on April 9th on a first-come, first-served basis. Detailed information will be announced on the official Mind Marathon website (mindmarathon.kr) and its official Instagram account (@mindmarathon.kr).
