Race Information
The 2026 Lee Il-seon Memorial Marathon is held on Ulleungdo to honor Dr. Lee Il-seon. The program includes a 10 km run and a 4.4 km walk.

Registration
- Period: July 14-September 22, 2026
- Entry is first-come, first-served based on payment order. If capacity remains, late entries may be accepted, but the requested commemorative T-shirt size may be unavailable or replaced with another gift.
- Entry fee: KRW 50,000 for general participants and KRW 40,000 for Ulleung residents
Participant Benefits
- Commemorative T-shirt, premium umbrella, medal, raffle ticket, race bib, water, sanchae bibimbap lunch, snack, and shuttle service
- Results use gun time without timing chips. An on-site result certificate is provided, and there are no performance awards.
Important Notes
- Roads will not be closed. Event staff will guide participants at key points.
- Only event insurance is provided, so personal medical expense insurance is recommended.
- Event photos may be used for race promotion, media coverage, and other public purposes.
- Refunds are available through September 22, 2026. After that date, refunds exclude costs already incurred for items such as gifts, bibs, and lodging.
- If the event is canceled due to a natural disaster, gifts may be shipped and the remaining amount refunded after deducting those costs.
- The event was originally scheduled for September 5 but was postponed to October 3 because of marine weather and ferry operation conditions.
