2026 Glocal Konyang University K-Defense Marathon

The 2026 Glocal Konyang University K-Defense Marathon is a special running festival held in Nonsan, the heart of national defense in the Republic of Korea.

Centered around Konyang University's Glocal Campus, this event presents an unforgettable experience to participants through its unique 'K-Defense' theme. It offers free participation in all courses for citizens of Nonsan and Gyeryong, students and faculty of Konyang University, and military personnel stationed in Nonsan, highlighting its significance as an event fostering harmony among the local community, the university, and the military.

The marathon event is divided into various categories including Half Course, 10km Course, and 5km Course. The 5km course uniquely features a Couple Run and a Family Run, providing joyful memories for couples and families. With a target of 3,500 participants, participation fees can be paid through website payment or bank transfer.

For participants, there is the Half Course and 10km Course, which include a timing chip, and a 5km course for health and enjoyment without a timing chip. Special bibs will be provided for Couple Run and Family Run participants. Participation fees vary by course: the 5km Health Run is 25,000 won, while the 10km and Half Courses are 35,000 won. The 5km Family Run is structured to accommodate different group sizes, ranging from 40,000 won for 2 people to 100,000 won for 5 people.

Participation in the race is on a first-come, first-served basis, and the event may close early once 3,500 participants are registered. Refunds are possible until March 23, 2026, Monday, 3:00 PM. Refunds and cancellations are not permitted after this period. Please note that the refund schedule may change due to souvenir preparation in case of early closure. Bibs will be sent along with souvenirs and will not be reissued.
