Welcome to the 2026 23rd Boryeong Mud Coastal Marathon.
This event is a coastal marathon carrying on the legacy of Boryeong Mud, offering a special opportunity to run while enjoying the beautiful scenery of the West Coast. It will provide participants with unforgettable memories and good health simultaneously.
The race will start at 8:30 AM on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from the 2nd parking lot of Daecheon Beach's 1st Zone. The course, stretching along the open beach, will add to the refreshment with the cool sea breeze.
The event offers three categories: Half Marathon, 10km, and 5km, open to all healthy men and women. Participation is on a first-come, first-served basis, with a limit of 5,000 runners, so please apply promptly.
This marathon is organized by the Boryeong City Athletics Federation and sponsored by the Boryeong City Sports Council, Boryeong City, Boryeong Police Station, and Boryeong Fire Station. For inquiries regarding the event, please contact the secretariat at 02-785-0583 or via email at brmarathon@naver.com. The secretariat operates from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM on weekdays. It is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.
Registration opens at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 26, 2026, and closes upon reaching the participant limit. The entry fees are 40,000 KRW for the Half Marathon, 35,000 KRW for the 10km, and 25,000 KRW for the 5km.
