2026 RUN SEOUL RUN is a road-running event that continues the legacy of the former Green Ribbon Marathon, which has a 19-year heritage, and is hosted by Daily Sports. The race will be held on Sunday, September 13, 2026, starting at 6:30 a.m. at Seoul Plaza, and it invites participants to run at their own pace while restoring balance to both body and mind.
This event aims to be more than just a sports competition by presenting running as a journey toward a better life. It emphasizes the power of mindful action in an age of information overload and encourages runners to share energy, mutual support, and pure enjoyment with one another. The course lineup consists of 10KM and 21KM races, and the event is expected to draw approximately 12,000 participants.
According to the schedule, the race venue opens at 6:30 a.m. at City Hall Plaza, followed by stretching on the main stage at 7:00 a.m. HALF participants start at 7:30 a.m., and 10K participants start at 7:50 a.m. The leading 10K runner is expected to pass the finish area at 8:30 a.m., and the leading HALF runner at 8:50 a.m. Awards and a lucky draw are scheduled for 10:00 a.m. on the main stage.
Registration is completed through the 2026 RUN SEOUL RUN website by selecting a course, and entries for the HALF and 10K courses open at 10:00 a.m. on June 29. Group registration is not available, and applicants can register and pay without creating a membership account. Payment is available by credit card only. Participant souvenirs include a T-shirt and bib number delivered by mail, while the medal and snacks are provided on site.
