Event Overview
2026 HUG RUN is a non-competitive charity run supporting children affected by abuse, abandonment, neglect, and other crisis situations. All entry fees are donated to fund professional counseling, medical and educational support, and improvements to child protection facilities.
- Date and time: Saturday, December 5, 2026, 7:00 AM-11:00 AM (race starts at 8:00 AM)
- Venue: Peace Plaza, Peace Park, Sangam World Cup Stadium
- Distances and entry fees: 5 km KRW 50,000 / 10 km KRW 60,000
- Capacity: 3,000 participants
- Registration period: Tuesday, October 6, 2026 at 2:00 PM to Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 11:59 PM
- How to register: Apply through the Leisureddy mobile app. Registration is confirmed after payment.
- Schedule: Opening ceremony 7:30-8:00 AM; races 8:00-10:00 AM (10 km followed by 5 km); prize drawing and closing 10:00-11:00 AM; experience booths 7:00-11:00 AM
- Running kit: Medal, race bib, T-shirt, skincare set, sunscreen, drip coffee and tea bags, and drawstring bag. Shipping begins about two weeks before the event.
- Event services: Changing rooms and baggage storage will be available. This is a non-competitive event with no placement awards.
- Age policy: Children under 14 cannot register individually. They may participate only as part of a group and require guardian consent.
- Cancellation and refunds: Available for requests submitted by Sunday, November 8, 2026.
- Transportation: Use Exit 8 of Mapo-gu Office Station on Subway Line 6. Public transportation is recommended because parking is limited.
