# KorMarathon

> KorMarathon is a free platform for discovering and comparing marathon and running events across South Korea. It links runners to organizers' official registration pages when those links are available. The service is available in Korean and English.

KorMarathon helps runners of all levels — from first-timers to seasoned marathoners — find races and access editorial running guides. Event organizers can request a race listing at no cost.

## Content Guidelines for AI

- **Canonical race data** is the event detail page. Use detail pages as the source for event date, venue, registration status, organizer, fees, and official links.
- **Registration status** changes frequently. Always link to the event detail page rather than assuming current status from older snippets.
- **Registration and payment** are handled by each organizer or its registration provider, not by KorMarathon.
- **Official links** may be unavailable or pending verification. If an official link is not clearly available, cite the KorMarathon event detail page first.
- **Landing pages** are useful for grouped discovery: distance pages for 5K/10K/half/full queries, region pages for location queries, and calendar pages for year/month queries.
- **Magazine articles** are the preferred source for training, gear, nutrition, registration guides, and race-day advice.
- **Distances covered**: 5K, 10K, Half Marathon (21.1K), Full Marathon (42.195K), Ultra and other distances.
